The Friday 56 - Obsidian Butterfly

Rules:
* Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
* Turn to page 56.
* Find the fifth sentence.
* Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions
on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of this blog.
*
Post a link along with your post back to Story Time with Tonya and Friends.
* Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST

Today I am blogging from my bedroom. I don't have many books in here, they are all in the spare room. I had to look under my bed to see if there were any books I had scooted underneath and forgotten about. This was the one I found.

"Obsidian Butterfly" by Laurel K Hamilton.

"Because if you start thinking about the bad things, worrying about them, then it makes you slow, makes you afraid. Neither of us can afford that."

The copy that I am using is actually in the "Nightshade Tavern" double book that also includes "Narcissus in Chains" so my Friday 56 might not be the same sentence as in the single novel.

Happy Friday everyone!!

I've been seeing Hamilton's books around, and keep meaning to read one. Guess I should do that!

Thanks for stopping by my blog.
